1kg chicken legs - £1.75
4 baking potatoes - £0.75
500g tomato and chili - £0.73
500g frozen mixed peppers - £0.69
1kg frozen green beans - £0.16
2 tomatoes - £0.22

Directions
The first thing you need to do for this cheap tomato chicken recipe is to pre-heat the oven to a temperature of 200 degrees C (390 degrees F).

Next, dice the pataotes and place them on a baking tray, drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and bake for 45 minutes, tossing them every now and again.

In the meantime remove the skin from chicken, place in a deep frying pan, cover with the tomato and chili sauce, add 450ml chicken stock - made with 1 chicken stock cube - , cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

When the time has elapsed add 1/2 packet of frozen peppers and 1/2 kg frozen sliced green beans and simmer with the lid off for another 5 minutes. Serve right away with the roasted potatoes.

That's it, cheap tomato chicken for less than a fiver. Not bad eh?
