Toad In The Hole Recipe

"How can I make toad in the hole for less than a fiver?"

This toad in the hole recipe is superbly tastey and costs less than £5 (or roughly 8 USD) to make for a family of four. What to buy
Butchers Choice large pork sausages
Basic plain white flour
Woodland eggs
Wholegrain mustard
1% fat milk
Rosemary
Mange tout

Directions
For this toad in the hole recipe the first thing you need to do is to grab yourself a mixing bowl and blend together four eggs, 225g of flour and one tablespoon of wholegrain mustard.

Next gradually add 300ml of milk whilst beating the mixture. When you are satisfied with your efforts place the bowl on the side for roughly 30 minutes.

Place the sausages in a frying pan and cook for 5 minutes until they are nice and brown, then remove them from the heat

Now grab a roasting tin and place a couple of tablespoons of olive oil into it with some chopped rosemary. Place the roasting tin in a pre-heated oven of 220 degrees C (430 degrees F) for 10 minutes.

When the time has elapsed add the sausages and batter and cook for approx 30 minutes. Serve with the cooked mange tout.
