Moroccan Chicken Recipes – How can I spice up chicken?

This culinary classic brought to you from the sunny shores of North Africa is quick and simple to master and scores very highly in the taste stakes. This dish is a homemaker’s delight as it will be loved by the whole family.

Ingredients (serves 10)
2 kg chicken, cubed5 peeled garlic cloves, minced
5g ground cumin
Pinch of allspice
10g paprika
5g salt
5g turmeric
50ml vegetable oil

Directions
The first thing you need to do for this Moroccan chicken recipe is to thoroughly was the chicken and pat it drying using kitchen towel.

Next you need to make the spicy mixture; here you should grab yourself a small mixing bowl and blend the vegetable oil, garlic, cumin, paprika, turmeric allspice and salt together until a paste forms.

Now, place the cubed chicken into a large bowl and smear / pour the paste over the chicken until it is fully covered. When you have followed this step place the bowl in the refrigerator for roughly two - three hours to allow to marinate.

When the time has elapsed for the previous part of the Moroccan chicken recipe it’s time to place the chicken under the grill and cook until chicken is cooked all the way through (should be roughly 80 degrees C or170 degrees F in the center of the chicken).
