How can I make liver and onions?"This recipe for liver and onions is quick and easy to prepare and is suitable all year round and for a number of different occassions. Serves (4) Ingredients
500 g lambs liver 30 g butter 2 thinly sliced onions 30 g flour 30 g gravy granules 20 g thresh thyme 500 ml boiling water
Directions
For this liver and onions recipe, firstly, pop the butter into the frying pan to this add the onions and thyme and cook until onions become translucent and leave to one side.It’s now time to give the liver a little was and dry, cut it into slices and coat it with flour.Add the liver to the pan with the onions in and cook for five minutes, turning once.Meanwhile, mix the water with the gravy granules and give it a quick stir, once the liver has finished browning add the gravy mix to the frying pan and bring it to the boil.
