"How do I make chicken tikka?"

This superb Homemade Chicken Tikka Recipe is extremely tasty, can be eaten all year round and is quick and easy to prepare and cook. Enjoy!

Serves (4)

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts cut into I inch cubes
  • 500ml natural yoghurt
  • 10g cumin powder
  • 10g garam massala
  • 10g hot chili powder
  • 10g coriander powder
  • 10g paprika
  • 6 large garlic cloves
  • 100ml lemon juice
  • 5g grated ginger

    Directions

  • For this chicken tikka recipe, firstly, in a bowl mix together the cumin, garam massala, chili, paprika and coriander powder along with the ginger and lemon juice and mix until a thick paste forms.

  • Add a tablespoon of water to this paste along with yoghurt to this paste and give it a good mix. Place the chicken into a resealable plastic big and pour in the tandoori mix, give the bag a good shake and pop the bag into the fridge to marinate over night.

  • Remove the chicken from the marinade and place them on skewers and place them in a pre-heated oven of 230 degrees C (450 degrees F) for roughly 20 minutes. Serve.
