Bread Nutrition - Including nutritional values for pastry

OPH Good Housekeeping & Homemaking

Bread

Bread nutrition....

Finding nutritional food for you and your family is all part of good housekeeping. Below is a fantastic table of nutritional figures.

Bread is usually pretty low in fat and high in carbohydrates, but is full of fibre which is needed for a healthy gut. Bread should always be included as part of a balanced and healthy diet.

Brown or wholemeal bread is always considered to be a healthier alternative to white bread, as all of the grain is used in making it, where as, only the part of it is used when making white bread.
