BBQ Trout Recipe

"How do I make BBQ trout?"

This BBQ Trout Recipe is extremely tasty, can be eaten all year round (especially when the sun is shining) and is quick and easy to prepare and cook. Enjoy!

Serves (4)

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 trout
  • 1 sliced lemon
  • 40 ml olive oil
  • 40 g sliced garlic
  • 10 g fresh rosemary
  • 10 g basil
  • 5 g salt and pepper to taste
  • DIRECTIONS

  • Firstly, with a knife slice down the centre of the under-bellies of the fish. In a bowl combine the olive oil, garlic and herbs and give them a quick stir.

  • Place the herb mixture and lemon slices inside the trout and wrap them in tin foil.

    Place the wrapped trout onto a preheated barbecue and cook for roughly 15 minutes.

  • Finally, remove the stuffing from inside the trout and using a fork remove the meat from inside the cod, leaving the spine in the skin. Serve.
