Barbecue Liver Recipe

"How do I make barbecue liver?"

This fantastic Barbecue Liver Recipe is extremely tasty, can be eaten all year round (especially when the sun is shining) and is quick and easy to prepare and cook. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

Serves (4)

  • 750 g thinly sliced beef liver
  • 100 ml tomato ketchup
  • 40 g flour
  • 5 g salt
  • 10 g garlic powder
  • 25 ml vinegar
  • 2 g pepper
  • 125 ml water
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 25 ml Worcestershire sauce
  • 25 ml vegetable oil
  • DIRECTIONS

  • In a plastic bag, mix together the salt, flour, and pepper. Place the liver into the bag and give it a good shake until the liver has been coated well.
  • In a bowl, add the water, garlic powder ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and vinegar.
  • In a frying pan heat the oil. Sauté the liver slices on both sides.
  • Pour the sauce over the liver. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 18 - 20 minutes.
