Barbecue Lamb Recipes

Below my barbecue lamb recipes, they’re a quick and tasty which are aimed to help you maintain your level of good housekeeping and are an excellent way to kick off a family barbecue. Why not try them out and see what you think.

SPICY LAMB

Serves (6)

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 lamb chops
  • 10 ml barbeque sauce
  • 20 ml soy sauce
  • 5 g English mustard
  • 65 ml tomato ketchup
  • 10 ml malt vinegar
  • 10 g brown sugar
  • DIRECTIONS

  • You need a large bowl for this barbecue lamb recipe. In the bowl combine the mustard, Soy sauce, vinegar, tomato sauce, brown sugar and barbecue sauce.
  • Put the lamb chops into the mixed sauce to marinate them and pop them in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  • Take the lamb from the marinade (don’t throw the marinade away, you’ll need it to baste the lamb while it is still barbecuing) and place them on a hot barbecue grill, cooking them for 12 minutes turning frequently and basting them as you go along. Leave to cool for a couple of minutes. Serve.
  • LEMON LAMB

    Serves (6)

    INGREDIENTS

  • 6 lamb chops
  • 40 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 75 ml olive oil
  • Pinch chopped fresh Rosemary
  • Pinch salt and pepper to taste
  • DIRECTIONS

  • In a bowl mix the lemon juice, olive oil, and herbs and sprinkle in the salt and pepper
  • Pop the lamb chops on a tray and baste them with the marinade and leave to marinate in the fridge for 50-60 minutes.
  • When they have been marinated place them on a hot barbecue grill and cook them for 10 minutes, turning frequently. Leave to cool for a couple of minutes. Then serve this tasty barbecue lamb recipe.
  • LUSCIOUS LAMB KEBABS

    Serves (6)

    INGREDIENTS

  • 200 g cubed lamb stew meat
  • 6 kebab skewers
  • 200 ml plain yogurt
  • 10 g brown sugar
  • 15 ml vegetable oil
  • 5 g curry powder
  • 1 large cubed onion
  • 1 cubed red bell pepper
  • DIRECTIONS

  • For this barbecue lamb recipe you need to combine the curry powder, sugar, yogurt and the oil in the bowl.
  • Get the lamb cubes, peppers and onion and skewer them in an alternate.
  • Get a bag, place the kebabs in it and pour in the marinade. Give the bag a good shake to fully coat them.
  • Place the bag into the fridge to allow marinate for about 10 hours.
  • Pop the kebabs on a medium heat barbecue grill and cook for 10 minutes turning frequently. Leave to cool for a couple of minutes. Serve
  • ORANGE LAMB CHOPS

    Serves (4)

    INGREDIENTS

  • 4 lamb chops
  • 30 g of marmalade
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • Pinch of thyme
  • 4 orange slices
  • Pinch of ground ginger
  • DIRECTIONS

  • In a bowl combine the marmalade, olive oil, ginger and thyme.
  • Pop the lamb chops on a tray and baste them with the marinade and leave to marinate in the fridge for 50-60 minutes.
  • When they have been marinated place them on a hot barbecue grill and cook them for 10 minutes, turning frequently. Leave to cool for a couple of minutes. Garnish with the orange slices then serve this tasty barbecue lamb recipe.
  • CHILI LAMB

    Serves (6)

    INGREDIENTS

  • 4 lamb fillets
  • 5 g grated lemon zest
  • 15 g marmalade
  • 15 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 5 g English mustard
  • 5 g grated lemon zest
  • 15 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 10 g cayenne pepper
  • 5 g chili paste
  • 5 g ground ginger
  • Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, give it a good stir.
  • Place the lamb fillets on a tray and baste them with the mixture, place the marinated lamb into the fridge for 4 hours or more.
  • When they have been marinated place them on a hot barbecue grill and cook them for 10 minutes, turning frequently. Leave to cool for a couple of minutes. Serve.
