Barbecue Fish Recipes

Below are my barbecue fish recipes, they’re a nice and tasty way to kick off a family barbecue. Why not try them out and see what you think?

1.Succulent BBQ salmon
2. BBQ Salmon steaks

5.Grilled sea bass

1.SUCCULENT BBQ SALMON

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 kg whole salmon fillet
  • 125 ml apple cider vinegar
  • 250 g brown sugar
  • 150 ml honey
  • DIRECTIONS

  • To prepare this succulent barbecue fish recipe, firstly combine the ingredients in a bowl and give them a good old stir.

  • With the marinade baste both sides of the salmon and place on a preheated barbecue grill and cook for roughly 17 minutes, turning once. Allow to cool for a couple of minutes. Serve.
  • 2.BBQ SALMON STEAKS

    Serves (4)

    INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Salmon steaks
  • 5 ml Worcestershire sauce
  • 75 ml melted butter
  • 10 ml soy sauce
  • 10 g minced garlic
  • 5 ml fresh lemon juice
  • DIRECTIONS

  • For this barbecue chicken recipe, firstly combine the ingredients in a bowl and give them a good, old fashioned stir.

  • Baste the salmon steaks on both sides with the marinade and pop them on your barbecue and cook for roughly 25 minutes, turning regularly and basting as you do so. Allow to cool for a couple of minutes. Serve.
  • 3.BBQ LIME TUNA STEAKS

    Serves (4)

    INGREDIENTS

  • 4 tuna steaks
  • 50 ml fresh lime juice
  • 40 ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 10 g salt and ground black pepper
  • DIRECTIONS

  • For this barbecue fish recipe, firstly in a bowl combine the lime juice and oil and give a quick stir.
  • Place the tuna steaks in a bag and pour in the marinade, give the bag a good shake and place in the fridge for roughly 60 minutes.
  • Place the tuna on a preheated barbecue grill and cook for roughly 7 minutes, turning once and basting with the marinade as you do so. Serve
  • 4.BBQ TROUT

    Serves (4)

    INGREDIENTS

  • 4 trout
  • 1 sliced lemon
  • 40 ml olive oil
  • 40 g sliced garlic
  • 10 g fresh rosemary
  • 10 g basil
  • 5 g salt and pepper to taste
  • DIRECTIONS

  • Firstly, with a knife slice down the centre of the under-bellies of the fish. In a bowl combine the olive oil, garlic and herbs and give them a quick stir.

  • Place the herb mixture and lemon slices inside the trout and wrap them in tin foil.

    Place the wrapped trout onto a preheated barbecue and cook for roughly 15 minutes.

  • Finally, remove the stuffing from inside the trout and using a fork remove the meat from inside the cod, leaving the spine in the skin. Serve.
  • 5.GRILLED SEA BASS

    Serves (4)

    INGREDIENTS

  • ¾ kg sea bass
  • 25 ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • Pinch garlic powder
  • Pinch chili powder
  • Pinch paprika
  • Pinch sea salt
  • 5 g basil
  • DIRECTIONS

  • For this barbecue fish recipe, firstly, combine the paprika, garlic powder, chili powder and sea salt and sprinkle it onto the fish.

  • Secondly place the butter in a saucepan and place on a medium heat, to this add the garlic and basil.

  • Baste the fish with the butter sauce and place it onto a preheated barbecue grill. Cook the fish for roughly 15 minutes, turning once. Serve.
