Should I keep my barbecue covered when not in use?The answer here is a categorical yes. In order to give your barbecue (especially static ones) some protection from the elements it’s a good idea to cover it with a plastic sheet. It won’t work miracles but every little helps and it’ll ensure your BBQ will last for a few summers longer. Another great barbecue cleaning idea is during the winter months remove the grill and store it in a dry place away from the damp and the elements; this will decrease the risk of rusting – remember good housekeeping is the order of the day every time.
