About UsOPH Good Housekeeping is a site dedicated to all your homemaking needs. Brought to you by the dynamic mother and son team, Steph and Nick. We aim to promote OPH as a popular brand and market leader in the fields of Web Design and Lifestyle Management.
The inspiration for our web name is attributed to Monica Dickens and her humorous portrayal of her life as a cook and general servant in the novel'One Pair of Hands' (1939)
Hi, I’m Nick aged twenty-eight and Webmaster of oph-good-housekeeping.com. I graduated in 2006 with a degree in Business Studies and have since established a web-based business. The marketing elements of my studies has proved particularly useful, over the past twelve months traffic to this site has increased to seven hundred + visitors per day and continues to grow. I am highly motivated with excellent organizational skills, so for me, starting my own business upon graduation was the obvious choice.
Steph Pemberton (BA Hons)Hi, I’m Steph, aged fifty-two, Co-Webmaster and Accounting & Finance graduate. I’m particularly looking forward to working alongside my son, Nick, on current projects and to promoting the OPH brand name for future online and offline business ventures. It would be great to utilize all the skills I have acquired over the years from employment in a variety of industry sectors and more recently from my studies. Yes, I can’t wait to get started.
